Meet Mary of Nazareth

Picture
We are so pleased to introduce you to the newest member of the Dolls From Heaven family, Mary of Nazareth. We hope her story will inspire children to have a greater love for Our Blessed Mother and to trust in God as she did.
Mary has dark brown hair and wears it in a low ponytail, she has brown eyes, and wears a long sleeve light blue dress that gathers at the waist and has Velcro in the back and a white veil. Her dress is paired with cute little brown sandals. Mary has vinyl limbs and a soft torso and she is able to move her head, arms, and legs.

Picture

She comes in a light blue keepsake box distinct from our previous dolls. We wanted to make a special box for her. On both sides of the box there is a pattern of Fleur de Lis.
Picture
The book is adapted from "The Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary" by Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. It tells the story of Mary's life from her miraculous birth to the Annunciation to her crowning as Queen of Heaven.
Picture
Mary’s second outfit is based on one of the apparitions of Our Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Fatima. A story that will teach children the love for prayer, especially the Holy Rosary. The outfit comes in a white box with a ribbon at the top and inside there is a long cream dress with gold trimming at the collar, sleeves, and hem, and a gold belt, and a floor length veil with gold trimming as well.
Picture
The outfit also includes a book that tells of the miracles and apparition of Our Lady of Fatima.

Day 1:
O Blessed Trinity, we thank you for having graced the Church with Saint John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your fatherly care, the glory of the Cross of Christ and the splendor of the Spirit of love to shine through him. Trusting fully in your infinite mercy and in the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd. He has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you. Grant us, by his intercession, and according to your will, the graces we implore, through Christ our Lord. Amen

Pray for us, that those who are unhappy will be filled with great joy.

Reflection by Saint John Paull II:
“It is Jesus in fact that you seek when you dream if happiness; he is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; he is the beauty to which you are so attracted . . .”

Novena to St. Therese of Lisieux

9/28/2017

Picture
Day One
Thought for the day: CONFIDENCE IN GOD

"We can never have too much confidence in the good God Who is so powerful and so merciful. We obtain from Him as much as we hope for. What offends Jesus, what wounds His Sacred Heart, is lack of confidence in Him. If you are nothing, do you forget that Jesus is everything? You have only to lose your nothingness in His Infinity and think only of loving Him."
Picture
Day Two
Thought for the day: SIN

"The only grace I ask, O Jesus, is never to offend Thee."
Picture
Day Three
Thought for the day: THE USE OF GOD’S GIFTS

How much benefit have I received from the beauties of nature, bestowed in such abundance. How they raise me to Him Who placed such wonders in this land of exile which is only to last a day.

Picture
Day Four
Thought for the day: ABANDONMENT TO GOD

"I fear only one thing—to keep my own will; take it, my God, for I choose all that Thou choosest."
Picture
Day Five
Thought for the day: PATIENCE IN SUFFERINGS

I do not fear trials sent by Jesus, for even in the most bitter suffering we can see that it is His loving hand which causes it. When we are expecting nothing but suffering, we are quite surprised at the least joy; but then suffering itself becomes the greatest of joys when we seek it as a precious treasure.

Picture
Day Six
Thought for the day: ZEAL FOR SOULS

Let us work together for the salvation of souls. We have only the day of this life to save souls and to give them to the Lord as proofs of our love.

Picture
Day Seven
Thought for the day: LOVE OF GOD

I will love God alone and will not have the misfortune of attaching myself to creatures, now that my heart perceives what He has in store for those who love Him. What attracts me to the Kingdom of Heaven is the call of our Lord, the hope of loving Him as I have so desired and the thought that I shall be able to make Him loved by a great number of souls who will bless Him forever.
Picture
Day Eight
Thought for the day: DEATH

It says in the catechism that death is nothing but the separation of the soul and body. Well, I have no fear of a separation which will unite me forever with the good God. I am happy to die because I shall be able to help souls who are dear to me, far more than I can here below.
Life is not sad; it is very joyous. If you say, “This exile is sad,” I understand you. We are wrong to give the name “life” to something which will end; it is only to the things of Heaven that we should apply this beautiful name.
Picture
Day Nine
Thought for the day: THE MISSION OF THE LITTLE FLOWER

I do not intend to remain inactive in Heaven. I want to work for the Church and for souls. I have asked this of God and I am certain that He will grant my request. I will spend my Heaven doing good upon earth. This is not impossible, since the Angels, though always enjoying the Beatific Vision, watch over us. No, I cannot be at rest until the end of the world.

Marian Consecration for Children

8/23/2017

The month of October is dedicated to Our Blessed Mother Mary. What a precious gift it will be if we could help our children consecrate themselves to Our Blessed Mother Mary.

"Everything in Mary leads us toward her Son, our only Savior, by whose foreseen merits she was preserved immaculate and full of grace; everything in Mary lifts up our hearts to the praise of the Holy Trinity"  -Pope Paul VI

And as Our Lady assured Lucy, June 13, 1917:

"I will never abandon you, my child. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God."

Devotion to Mary will lead our children directly to her Son, Jesus. We are excited to announce a Marian consecration for children. This book has been adapted from one of the best books ever written about our Mother Mary, True Devotion to Mary by Saint Louis de Montfort and has an imprimatur. We have taken what we consider to be the best parts of the book to make it easy for children to understand how wonderful becoming devoted to Mary is.This book includes over 33 full-color pictures of Our Lady and thirty-three days of short teachings about Our Lady and a short prayer.

Consecration to Our Lady is an excellent way for our children to get closer to Jesus and become great saints.

The start date for the next consecration day is September 4th with the consecration on October 7th The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Missing John Paul II Dolls

7/11/2017

Update: Thank you so much for your powerful prayers, we found the missing John Paul dolls. FedEx found and contacted our warehouse and returned them. May God bless you all.
We Need Your Help

Between June 19-27 at St. George Logistics in South Kearney, NJ, 150 John Paul II Dolls (15 boxes each containing 10 dolls with outfits) were mistakenly given to someone else. We do not know who has our dolls because hundreds of companies import from there every day. St. George is almost at the point of giving up the search, and our only hope is that the persons who received the dolls by mistake contact us or St. George to return the dolls to their rightful owner.

Ways You Can Help
  1. Please Pray that we can find our John Paul II dolls. St. Peter Eymard said, "Have confidence in prayer. It is the unfailing power which God has given us."
  2. Share this so that we can spread the word out and hopefully find our missing dolls.
  3. If you have information or have received our missing dolls, contact us at: Dollsfromheaven@gmail.com. The doll is wearing the white outfit with the red cape and the boxes are labeled Dolls from Heaven.

Thank you so much for your help and may God Bless you!

John Paul Visits Our Lady of Lourdes, France

6/19/2017

Picture
Lourdes was a place that St. John Paul II loved and visited in many occasions. In one of his pilgriamges to Our Lady of Lourdes, St. John Paul II said:

“Kneeling here, before the grotto of Massabielle, I feel deeply that I have reached the goal of my pilgrimage. This cave, where Mary appeared, is the heart of Lourdes. It reminds us of the cave of Mount Horeb where Elijah met the Lord, who spoke to Him in `a still small voice' (1 Kg 19:12). Here the Blessed Virgin asked Bernadette to recite the Rosary, as She herself hold the beads. This grotto has thus become a unique school of prayer where Mary teaches everyone to gaze with burning love upon the face of Christ... As we turn to Mary Most Holy, let us pray together with Bernadette: `Good Mother, have mercy on me; I give myself entirely to You, that You may give me to Your dear Son, whom I wish to love with my whole heart. Good Mother, grant me a heart all aflame for Jesus'.”

Later during one of the daily Rosary Procession, St. John Paul II said:

“When the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette in the grotto at Massabielle, She began a dialogue between Heaven and earth which has lasted through time, and continues to this day. Speaking to the young girl, Mary asked that people should come here in procession, as if to signify that this dialogue cannot be limited to words, but must become a journey at Her side along the pilgrim way of faith, hope and love."

“Here in Lourdes, for more than a century, the Christian people have faithfully responded to that maternal summons, walking each day behind Christ in the Blessed Sacrament and processing each night amid songs and prayers in honour of the Lord's Mother."

St. John Paul II composed a beautiful prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes
Hail Mary, poor and humble Woman,
Blessed by the Most High!
Virgin of hope, dawn of a new era,
We join in your song of praise,
to celebrate the Lord’s mercy,
to proclaim the coming of the Kingdom
and the full liberation of humanity.

Hail Mary, lowly handmaid of the Lord,
Glorious Mother of Christ!
Faithful Virgin, holy dwelling-place of the Word,
Teach us to persevere in listening to the Word,
and to be docile to the voice of the Spirit,
attentive to his promptings in the depths of our conscience
and to his manifestations in the events of history.

Hail Mary, Woman of sorrows,
Mother of the living!
Virgin spouse beneath the Cross, the new Eve,
Be our guide along the paths of the world.
Teach us to experience and to spread the love of Christ,
to stand with you before the innumerable crosses
on which your Son is still crucified.

Hail Mary, woman of faith,
First of the disciples!
Virgin Mother of the Church, help us always
to account for the hope that is in us,
with trust in human goodness and the Father’s love.
Teach us to build up the world beginning from within:
in the depths of silence and prayer,
in the joy of fraternal love,
in the unique fruitfulness of the Cross.

Holy Mary, Mother of believers,
Our Lady of Lourdes,
pray for us. Amen.

May Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us!
Order a John Paul doll today to inspire children to follow his example and love for Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother.

The Notre Dame Cathedral Paris (Meaning 'Our Lady of Paris' in French) is a beautiful Gothic cathedral. The Cathedral is a place of pilgrimage and the focal point for Catholicism in France. The Cathedral has been the host of many religious ceremonies and historical events, especially in 1909, when Joan of Arc was beatified  by Pope Pius X.

The west front of the cathedral is one of its most notable features, with its two 69-meter (228-feet) tall towers.

Therese's Pilgrimage to Lourdes

6/4/2017

Picture
Lourdes is a village in France where Our Blessed Mother appeared eighteen times to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Her  messages to Bernadette are ageless and apply to all of us today. The first apparition appeared when Bernadette was gathering wood with her sister and a friend.  Bernadette heard a noise like a gust of wind and looked up toward the grotto.  She described what she saw:

“I raised my head and looked towards the grotto. I saw a Lady dressed in white, wearing a white dress, a blue girdle and a yellow rose on each foot, the same color as the chain of her Rosary.”

In one of the apparitions, the Blessed Virgin Mary asked for a chapel to be built on the grounds, for Bernadette to pray for the conversion of sinners, and for her to drink the spring water that was revealed to her at the grotto. Word of these apparitions spread rapidly and caused quite a stir in town. Bernadette was detained, interrogated, and harassed by the civil authorities. However, Bernadette was determined with God's graces that she said one day:

"There was something in me that enabled me to rise above everything.  I was tackled from all sides, but nothing mattered and I was not afraid.”
Picture
The spring that the Lady asked Bernadette to drink from quickly revealed itself to be blessed water with miraculous healing properties.
Picture
Today a beautiful church has been erected on the grounds near the grotto at Lourdes. After Rome and the Holy Land, Lourdes, France is the most popular place of pilgrimage for Catholic faithful. The water of Lourdes is readily available to all pilgrims, and numerous healings and conversions have been documented to have occurred there.
Picture
Five years after the apparitions, Bernadette petitioned to enter the Sisters of Notre Dame. After a period of illness she was able to make the journey from Lourdes and enter the novitiate. But within four months of her arrival she was given the last rites of the Church and allowed to profess her vows. She recovered enough to become infirmarian and then sacristan, but chronic health problems persisted. She died on April 16, 1879, at the age of 35. She was canonized in 1933. Her feast day is  April 16th.
