We are the Kiczeks, a Catholic, pro life family, who are trying to work for the kingdom of God by bringing others closer to Jesus. As a family we created Dolls from Heaven. Dolls have always been part of our family. We all enjoy dressing them and playing with them. Last year, on the Feast of Our Lady Help of Christian, May 24th, we took a long trip to a family function, it was a long ride and there was a lot of traffic. After we prayed the Rosary, we start talking about the different kinds of dolls companies and how there were none to inspire children to become saints. A little light bulb lit up in our heads, we all suggested creating a doll company that would lead children closer to God through the lives of the saints. We came up with the name, “Dolls from Heaven.” Once again, all of us in agreement decided that our first doll should be St. Therese of Lisieux. She is one of our favorite saints; she has not only inspired our family, but millions of people through her “little way.” It took us a whole year of praying and planning for this special project to start. Currently, we are working on the prototype and in a few weeks, we will be introducing an 18 inch Saint Therese of Lisieux doll that will come with a children’s book based on the Story of a Soul and she will be wearing the Carmelite habit. We also made a second outfit and accessories. The second outfit, “Therese’s Sunday Best,” was inspired by her childhood and her love for going to church. We hope that our Therese doll will inspire children to make Jesus the focus of their lives. Our hope is to have her debut before Christmas 2015. In order to achieve this goal, we will need to have 120 dolls preordered. So, in a few weeks, you will have the chance to support this wonderful project by preordering your own Therese doll for your children, grandchildren, nieces, friends, and for your Godchildren too.
Future plans for the company is to create a series of saint dolls like St. John Paul II, St. Bernadette, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Patrick, and many more. The plan is to introduce one saint per year.
We already have seen the prototype and she looks beautiful. We cannot wait to show the final product. It should be coming to us in less than 2 weeks!
