Therese was thinking that when she helped a poor person she was helping Jesus.
Therese decided, "I know," she exclaimed, "I will go help make baskets at the soup kitchen to give to the poor."
The smell of fresh bread filled the room, Therese was so happy that she was going to help Jesus by her helping the poor.
Therese started to get to work, she began cleaning the fresh tomatoes.
She started to pack the baskets full of fresh pastas, fruits, and vegetables as she prayed a Hail Mary for the poor.
Therese felt very happy when she handed the basket of food to a poor lady. "Here you are," Therese said to her, "Thank you, and May God bless you," the poor lady replied.
"I love that I am able to help a family have a meal, today," she declared, "And I am happy that I am making Jesus happy."
